Browser Push Notifications

Browser push notifications let you receive real-time alerts even when you’re not actively using the Client Portal. Get notified instantly about new messages, project updates, payment reminders, and more.

What Are Push Notifications?

Push notifications are small popup alerts that appear on your computer or phone:

  • Appear even when the portal isn’t open
  • Show on your desktop or mobile device
  • Include a brief message and click-through link
  • Make a sound or vibration (configurable)

Enabling Push Notifications

Log Into the Portal

Visit app.leadmarketingstrategies.com and sign in to your account.

Look for the Permission Prompt

You may see a browser popup asking “Allow notifications from this site?” Click “Allow”.

Or Enable in Settings

If you dismissed the prompt, go to Account Settings > Notifications and click “Enable Push Notifications”.

Confirm Browser Permission

Your browser will ask for permission. Click “Allow” to enable notifications.

Device-Specific

Push notification permissions are per-device and per-browser. You’ll need to enable them on each device/browser where you want to receive notifications.

Customizing Push Notification Settings

In Account Settings > Notifications, you can:

  • Enable/Disable All: Turn push notifications on or off entirely
  • By Category: Choose which types of notifications to receive
  • Quiet Hours: Set times when notifications won’t disturb you
  • Sound: Enable or disable notification sounds
Don’t Disable Everything

We recommend keeping at least meeting reminders and urgent notifications enabled. These help ensure you don’t miss important deadlines or appointments.

Troubleshooting Push Notifications

Not Receiving Notifications

  1. Check browser notification permissions (see steps above)
  2. Ensure notifications are enabled in portal Account Settings
  3. Check your system notification settings (OS-level)
  4. Try disabling and re-enabling notifications
  5. Clear browser cache and try again

Notifications Blocked

If you previously clicked “Block” on the permission prompt:

  1. Click the lock icon in the address bar
  2. Change Notifications from “Block” to “Allow”
  3. Refresh the page

System Notifications Disabled

Check your operating system settings:

  • Windows: Settings > System > Notifications
  • Mac: System Preferences > Notifications
  • iOS: Settings > Notifications > [Browser]
  • Android: Settings > Apps > [Browser] > Notifications

Do Not Disturb Mode

If your device is in Do Not Disturb mode, notifications may be silenced. Check your device settings.

Privacy & Security

Our push notifications:

  • Only contain brief, non-sensitive information
  • Don’t include full message content or financial details
  • Link to the portal for full details (requires login)
  • Can be disabled at any time
Shared Computers

If you use a shared or public computer, consider not enabling push notifications to protect your privacy. Notifications could reveal that you have pending invoices or meetings to others who use the computer.
